About Linders

Family owned and in business for well over 70 years, Linders is well established as Dublin’s main and oldest Toyota Dealer. This is in fact our 71st year in the Motor Business having celebrated our 70th anniversary last April 2008.

Established in 1938 by Patrick “Sonny” Linders, Linders of Chapelizod began life as Linders of Smithfield  selling Austin, Commer and anything else we could get our hands on. We became Toyota dealers in 1973 when the brand was as yet unknown in Ireland.  The partnership grew from strength to strength and the business moved to larger premises from Smithfield to Chapelizod in 2002 becoming Linders of Chapelizod.

Selling new and used Toyota vehicles, plus other used franchise models from our forecourt and huge indoor showroom, we are confident we can find the vehicle you want. What's more, when you buy a vehicle from us we will continue to look after you through our Aftersales departments, year in, year out. You may even know of our service already. Gerry Doogan, our Garage Foreman, has been looking after Linders’ customers for over 30 years!

As a family owned business we can put our customers first. All our team pride themselves on offering superb standards of customer service. We generate a great deal of business through word of mouth goodwill. This is what makes us such a popular garage.

Both Sonny’s sons Joe and Patrick joined the business over the years and developed it into the business it is today. Joe’s son Paul joined them in 2002 to bring the business into it’s third family generation. Linders and the team are extremely proud of their history and association with Toyota and the motor industry for all these years.
